I have stuff. Some of it is stuff I've previously used and upgraded from. Some of it is stuff I've bought for projects that were later abandoned. Some of it is stuff I'd like to upgrade from in the near future and don't feel like taking with me when I move later this year.
Some of it is stuff that I've listed on ebay or craigslist before, but not sold. I hesitate to throw it away because most of it is perfectly usable and waste bothers me, but practically, I'm never going to use it.
So here is a continuously updated list of stuff that I have but do not want. If you want any of it, contact me.
I've linked to manufacturer or seller pages where I have them, because it's easier than copypasting specifications here and reformatting them. I'm also happy to take pictures of specific things upon request.
prices and shipping costs
Items with no prices listed are free except shipping costs. These are things that will just become e-waste if I still have them when I move, but still probably have use to someone out there.
Items with prices are negotiable, particularly if you're any sort of disadvantaged person or an educational- or makerspace-type organization. These are mostly the "too expensive to just give away but I do still want it gone" category of things.
Shipping or pickup is from southwest Ohio, US, zip code 45431. Shipping cost will be whatever your favorite courier charges to ship from there. If you need the thing but can't afford shipping (and it's reasonably small/light), I will consider covering shipping myself.
Items which are too large or heavy for me to reasonably ship are marked as such; you'll have to pick them up from me if you want them.
is X still available?
Items will be crossed out when someone has claimed them, and removed from the list when I've shipped them.
3D printing stuff
- 220V 750W 350mm 3D printer bed heating mat (the one from this kit).
- Bigtreetech Mini12864 3D printer LCD module.
computer stuff
- SB6141 cable modem.
- Five Dell Latitude ST tablets, hacked into not-tablets for an abandoned project.
These are 32-bit x86 PC-compatible machines with no internal storage installed. They can boot from USB.
I removed and disposed of the batteries, and modified them to run directly on 19V DC power from a barrel jack (standard laptop chargers from before they started moving to USB-C).
- Pine64 SOQuartz on a CM4-IO-BASE-A.
- Two BeagleBones Black.
- HP Z420 workstation.
32GB RAM, Quadro NVS 295, unknown Xeon CPU (I'll boot it and find out if you're curious but do not know as I'm writing this), no storage.
- BenQ GW2255 monitor, without stand.
other electronic stuff
- OnePlus 3T.
Unlocked bootloader, unknown Android distribution/version; probably only take this if you're the sort of person who can reinstall Android.
- HT-8A RC transmitter (no receiver).
- Emax E8 RC transmitter (no receiver).
- Yamaha DGX-660 digital piano, white. $200. Not shippable.
I did Electronics Nerdery on this several years ago to replace a cracked LCD with a completely different LCD because I couldn't source the right one. It works perfectly and you won't notice the difference, except the LCD contrast adjustment knob doesn't do anything now, and if you ever need to replace the screen again you'll have to figure out what I did because I do not remember.
- Husqvarna 315x robot lawnmower. $350.
Includes the charging dock. Does not include the boundary wire.
I replaced the battery in it with a brand new one last year, but then I left it in a freezing garage over the winter, so I'm uncertain how good it still is. If it needs to be replaced again, third party replacement batteries go for around $100.
- A hair removal laser. Not shippable.
So here's the thing. There's no model number on this thing. I can't tell you exactly what it is. I dug up the listing from my ebay order history (which I cannot link you to because it was enough years ago that I have to be logged in to see it) and it's just titled "DIODE HAIR REMOVAL MACHINE". It has one stock image and a minimal list of specifications which may or may not be accurate.
But it is a very bright blinky red light that makes hair go away. Bright enough that it's water cooled, and that you should be wearing real laser safety goggles when you use it. I only feel safe using it because I've had professional laser hair removal and know what it's supposed to feel like. Honestly, I'm slightly surprised I was allowed to buy it without any paperwork.
I considered tearing it down for parts because I feel weird and nervous about giving Dangerous Medical-Adjacent Devices to people. But I'd like this to go to a trans person who needs it, and can use it safely.
tools
- 7x14 mini lathe. $250. Not shippable.
Modified with a Z-axis DRO, an 0XA quick-change toolpost, and an extended cross slide.
Includes 3- and 4-jaw chucks, centers, tool holders, and some assorted carbide insert tooling.
- Mini mill. $700. Not shippable.
Modified with DROs on all three axes (product pages have disappeared from aliexpress, but the sort of display that looks like this with the scales that look like this).
Includes a drill chuck, an ER-32 collet chuck, and a 2-inch face mill.
- 10 inch drill press. Maybe shippable?
Currently bolted to a 2x2 foot wheeled wooden workbench, you're welcome to take that too if you want it. The workbench is definitely not shippable.
- Table saw. $100. Probably not shippable.
- 660CFM dust collector.
